Weekend catch-up

We have our second Curated Corsetry Collection coming in the New Year... You can even see a small teaser of it in one of our Winter Sale sample corsets

As part of the collection, I was going to do a little bit of video showing the creation of the main piece and rambling on about it a little bit. But that might have to go on hold now.

I'm in my final work days before Christmas and find myself without the necessary kit! It's been a long time since I played with video and it turns out that my laptop isn't up to scratch for the software. And I can't update my OS in order to make it so. So nevermind. Perhaps I will figure out a small bit of video, perhaps not, but either way we will have a zillion gorgeous images for you. Which reminds me, have you seen the Jonah corset-dress? She was part of our design development for the next Curated Corsetry Collection. Lingerie designer Karolina Laskowska took a polaroid of it worn by Victoria Dagger (AKA PopAntique) when they were here last August.

Yesterday was another stables day. Glorious. A long day though, since it was group Christmas dinner afterwards too.

A photo I took for the stables a few months ago. Summerfield Stables are a voluntary organisation designed to help both people and horses. If anyone in Birmingham UK is interested in helping, do get in touch with them via the website! Volunteers and fundraisers are always welcome.

I would normally be relaxing at home on a Sunday, but the studio beckoned. I'm trying to catch up on emails and am fielding enquiries about payment plans today and tomorrow. Then, Christmas break! I will be online at various points as I've loads of shinies to share with you, but I won't be properly "at work", you know what I mean. So if you would like to purchase or reserve (with deposit) a shiny thing, then get in touch now: jenni@sparklewren.co.uk

Oh, and before I forget, I made a new gallery for you! A display sharing all of the delicious Falling Blossoms photographs in one place. Take a look.
