Design sheet - a “caged” corset
A potential client was interested in a variation on the original “cage” corset and as I happened to be doing an inverted version as a display sample it has made designing reasonably straight forward! Though I did have some ink smudging with my watercolours which makes me unhappy :-(
We’re still figuring out details, fabrication, etc., but I think this could be a very striking design. The current red-on-black sample shown here features a crimson damask poly-taffeta which is a deliciously deep and lustrous colour in real life. Yummy!
