Bespoke Patterns, made to order

Now, as well as producing bespoke patterns in order to construct beautifully fitted corsets for my clients, I also produce bespoke patterns for hobbyists and other seamstresses to dress themselves with!

These patterns are not, of course, suitable for use by other corsetieres for commercial purposes as they are “Sparklewren” through-and-through. But they do offer the fledgling seamstress or home-sewer the opportunity to produce something especially unique and personal.

Perhaps you’ve always fancied making a corset, but have a physique that the “regular” patterns don’t cater to. Or perhaps you’ve already made a couple of corsets using standard “beginners” patterns, and want to try something else. A bespoke corset pattern can give you a little head-start to a corset that provides an amazing fit and will have all your friends saying, “did you make that?!”.

I’m open to producing patterns in a variety of styles and shapes, but for now we’ll stick with an overbust corset.

Bespoke patterns start at £60 and are made using a full set of measurements as shown here. Toiles and fittings are still recommended for a perfect fit (which you can do with your seamstress friends so that everyone learns a bit about corset fitting!), and these patterns are provided on white paper with a ready-cut version included (featuring 1/2” seam allowances). Standard turn-around time is 2 – 4 weeks.
