Etsy update

Hello lovely creatures grin

I have slightly reduced the 29” underbust corsets currently in my etsy shop in order to encourage a quick sale. They won’t be reduced any further, but I decided I’d rather have them sell than sit there. The reason? I want to treat myself to a fun purchase for the business (details to follow if it goes ahead) and this seems like a good way to fund that!

As you’ll probably already know, these are very simple and elegant designs. Masses of black casings with slivers of coloured silk shining between them. But the real selling point of these items isn’t the design, oh no… they were made as part of my continuing product development (always trying new things!) and their real feature is the comfort.

Those casings aren’t merely decorative, each one contains a steel bone giving a superbly comfortable cinch. This is not a feature you would usually see in a ready-to-wear corset. And why wouldn’t you usually see it? Because it’s a lot of extra work! But I really feel the extra work is worth it, and I hope you guys do too grin

These pieces would be suitable for those with a natural waist of between 30” and 35” (depending upon your cinch and the lacing gap preferred at back). The curvy ladies out there should take a look! You can also see the original post about these pieces here.

Also, for some styling trivia, my model with the straight hair managed to effortlessly create that style using a bumpit! I was very intrigued having never seen one before, but it worked really well, and was a damn sight faster than going at it with hairspray and combs…

Thanks for your continuing support friends grin
