In other news…
…some samples turned up. And whilst lovely, the raspberry silk is just not raspberry. Sigh. Maybe if the raspberries had grown near some radioactive waste they would be this bright, but otherwise I’m not convinced.
Anyway, must finish up a bit of patterning and stitching before I’m done for the day. It’s been grey all day here, it makes me feel like curling up in a little ball with a cup of hot chocolate and a movie. Maybe later.

It hasn't stopped raining here all day! Could do with a chocolate treat myself but fighting the urge. It's very upsetting when fabrics don't look as you had imagined...know exactly how you fee. better luck next time, Lucyxx

Thanks Lucy! Yet more grey and dreary weather today (and still no truly "raspberry" silk!), but I'm safe inside with some satin and beaded lace so all is right with the world
