It’s snowing again…
…boo.
In other news, the instructions for my steam iron say that you “must not operate the machine with bare feet”! I’m always barefoot. I guess it was as a result of someone like me, ironing with bare feet, that they needed to put this warning in the instructions…
So I’d better get some slippers.
Also, I had a bit of Etsy fun yesterday.
Firstly, I created a “made-to-order” listing. A good friend’s mother gifted me some beautiful silks with delicate Spring tones which worked deliciously side-by-side. This made me think that they would all work well in the French Lace design I completed recently.
As you may know, I generally reserve my etsy shop for sample pieces, so this is new for me. I’m hoping it may work for some prospective clients who may have seen my Gold with French Lace sample but need it in a different size.
This listing is for only one of each colour, making the corsets completely exclusive to their owners. I feel that such a delicate little corset deserves to be part of a Springtime Bride’s trousseau.
Which brings me to the next bit of etsy fun. I tried my hand at making a treasury!
Now, it was all well and good to build it, but I don’t think I’ll make a habit of it. A lot of effort for little result. I had a wonderful time searching etsy for pretty garments though, there’s some lovely stuff out there! This little dress is one of my favourites.
And now, back to pressing, cutting and stitching!
