My poor little hands are freezing!
Which makes everything tricky… typing, turning the pages of a book, doing the dishes… Ah well.
“Plans for when my hands are warm again!
I have a couple of things on the table to share with you guys soon! That midnight blue with cream lace corset, a “toffee apple” red and black sample cincher (with silk flossing and decorative embroidery), a delicate gold cincher with fine french lace, and a pink/gold/white overbust (made to test a new standard sized pattern – probably won’t be sold) with metallic lace detailing.
Oh, and the black cherry corset will be properly started soon too. Despite issues with customs (don’t even get me started), we have assessed the fit of the toile and are ready to continue. I just love that shade of deep lustrous red silk, I’m so excited about using it…
I hope to make good progress with these during next week (and also hopefully get some more pattern drafting done – I’ve decided on a model for the real version of my corded historical replica!) so keep your eyes peeled
